Notice to the Public - Changes to Transit's Operation Hours

The City of Albany Transit regrets to inform the public that the global driver shortage issue has severely impacted our transit system.  As a result, the City of Albany Transit must reduce hours of operation.  Effective November 20, 2021, until further notice, Albany Transit will operate from 6:00 am – 6:15 pm for both fixed route and paratransit services Monday - Friday. The last trip of service will begin at 5:15 pm . Saturday 6:00 am - 3:15 pm. The last trip of service will begin at 2:15 pm.  Public Announcements-  EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Due to driver shortage, effective immediately, Albany Transit will interrupt services for it's fixed route operations. Monday - Friday service interruptions will start with the Blue Line from 11:45am- 12:45pm. All other routes will shut down from 12:15 pm to 1:15pm. The service interruptions will continue until further notice.
